On Thursday evening, March 26, CTEP Graphic Design student Max Bowman spoke to a crowded room at the Museum of Discovery. Event Santa Cruz was hosting a talk entitled “Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow” and Max was chosen to speak because of his outstanding accomplishments as a young designer. Max is a second year design student in the Career Technical Education Partnership (CTEP) Graphic Design class at Aptos High taught by Jenny Angelacos. As a student in this class, Max has several opportunities to develop his portfolio by creating work for class internship projects. In these internship projects, Max worked with clients to create projects to meet their needs. Clients provided through the class included: Cooper Garrod Vineyards, Fire it Up Culinary Showcase, and Your Future is Our Business Seed to Table Luncheon to name a few. Max was one of several students chosen as the next generation of entrepreneurs to speak at the event. Other featured students showcased their skills in application development, photography, music, and product development.
