In December, the Harbor High School Career Technical Education Partnership (CTEP) Bicycle Technology class visited The Bicycle Trip, the sponsor of all of CTEP’s Bike Tech classes. Steve Hess, the CTEP Bike Tech teacher, organized a great learning experience for his students, to bring relevance to what they are learning in his class.

CTEP has been able to offer bike classes at Santa Cruz High, Harbor High, Soquel High, Pajaro Valley High and Aptos High, with the generous support of Berri Michel the owner of The Bicycle Trip. The Bicycle Trip has placed fully loaded bike shops at all of the above sites. Many of the graduates have been able to obtain jobs in the bike mechanic industry as well as developing a new appreciation and mind set of care for our environment.

Thank you Bicycle Trip, for your ongoing support of students in Santa Cruz County!
