District Support and Leadership

District Support and Leadership focuses on supporting the 10 county school districts around continuous student improvement and strategic leadership to advance meaningful, goal driven work to close the achievement gap. Expertise and guidance are provided from a site and district level on Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) development, monitoring and implementation, Categorical Programs implementation and Regional System of District and School Support (RSDSS). This office is a hands-on partner that tailors work to the individual district needs throughout the year.

SCCOE offers customized support services to districts, including services such as informational presentations to school boards, community groups, and teacher groups regarding LCAP, categorical programs, etc.; facilitation of leadership team meetings; and one-on-one support for leaders of LCAP district-level teams.
